There is this girl and in the beginning she totally liked me i think. She would flirt with me her eyes would glow shed act like a crazy drunk around me, she would fiddle with stuff. But now she acts all shy and slightly sirly with me. She still acts sort've the same but she now acts all flirty with another guy in my class. She never acted like that around him before. Has she stopped liking me? Does she like him now? What the f*** do I do?! Its driving me nuts!
Additional Details
Shes beautiful. And it wasnt flirting it was deep conversations. And she would look me in the eyes really deeply. They would sparkle. And she was really sweet I dont know if it was just flirting. plus I caught her lookin at me and lookin away when i saw her the other day.
Oh yeah I am 14 and in 8th grade

You're not "much too young"! I don't like when adults speak down to younger people. You obviously, think you had "deep conversations" with this girl, so you don't only like her because of her beauty. I think you're impressed with her mind somewhat and you have a basic natural attraction. This is exactly what adults feel. When you're the age you are right now, you're almost too shy to bear asking the girl out. You'll be in High School next year, though. It sounds like you just need to talk some confidence into yourself to somehow find a way to spend more quality time with her. You don't need to literally ask her out by saying "will you go out with me?" , but try and ask her and her friends to hang or something. Try being just as flirty with her as you were before. Get her number to hang. There's always the movies, the mall, all that. And summer is coming up so make sure you hang out with her outside of school now so that when school lets out, you can still be friends with her until next year. Maybe she's flirting with that other guy to kind of make you a bit jealous, too. I know I've done that a bit. But, in all reality, she just may be a very flirty girl. You'll learn so much more about what you want from women by the time you're 30. And this girl may be TOTALLY wrong for you for real, but you need to find out anyway. I'd date you, because you have the ability to write well!! Keep up the hard studying by the way, smart girls like smart guys. Build confidence and do what I said. Best of Luck!!

Why do "fresh" teenagers always have to listen to their hormones? I didn't even try to get a girlfriend until I was 16. Anyway, flirting or deep conversations doesn't mean she likes you or that other guy. She was just being flirty. A lot of girls just go around flirting with guys. It's a fact of teenage life. Maybe she felt the flirting or deep conversation was getting too serious. Leave it alone until you're mature enough to tell the difference and can handle these types of things.

Girls your age change their mind about boys all of the time. Don't let it get you down if she's flirting with someone else. Just have fun being 14 , flirt with other girls, have fun with the guys and enjoy life. Ask her to a school function like a ball game or a dance. If she turns you down you will know where you stand.

8th grade girls will try to hide their true feelings because they still rely on friends opinions about everything. If she is acting weird or fidgity towards you its probably b/c she does like you. It's when they are mean and avoid you that you need to worry about.
You also need to keep in mind that at this age, girls (and boys) change their minds fast and often. Don't invest all your energy worrying about this girls' feelings for you. If you are supposed to be together it will happen.

At 14 girls have lots of crushes and sometimes they don't last very long. Sounds like her interest have moved on to someone else. Enjoy life and seek out other girls who would enjoy your company.

start flirty back! cus it seems like she likes you!
notice differences when she talks to other guys and when she talks to you. she might just be trying to make you jealous if it's more special around you.
good luck!
