He started getting it a year or so ago, and it's like it's growing. We're affraid it's dangerous, but he seems to be well in every other way, and he doesn't seem to be bothered by it.

This cat is very affraid of being driven in a car, so we don't want to expose him to a car ride unless it's really necessary. My mother has called a vet though, but we only got the answer, that we should wait and see.

Take your cat to the vet. Almost ALL cats are afraid of the car. I've never been lucky enough to have one that could tolerate the car ride to the vet EVER and I've had 16 different cats in my lifetime. The stress of a car ride is only temporary. You can minimize the stress to your cat by getting a good carrier that makes him feel safe and secure. Granted, he won't like the car ride. He will whine and cry and scratch to be set free. But it's okay. This is to be expected. Just do it. There are methods to getting a cat used to a car ride but I don't even think it's worth it to do that now. You cat needs medical attention and that is the only thing that matters. Check out my other answer to this question to get your cat comfy with the carrier. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Aog408pjUzNzmJFjA8O1zUkAAAAA?qid=20060817102650AAIHNez&show=7#profile-info-4e5fd254e014b1f36f8d1f5c15c3f200aa Good luck!

If it is a mass on the nose then take it in to a vet cause it can be harmful. A melanoma (a cancer). If it is just discoloration of the nose it shouldnt be a problem.

You better take him to the vet! If that is something serious, than, vet will tell you what to do! But, if that is nothing serious, than, you will know not to worry about it!!!
Good luck!

no longer all. till now than we moved apartment, certainly certainly one of our neighbour's cats become as quickly as thoroughly black. i be attentive to what you advise a pair of style of black cats having a white chin besides the reality that. My cat is darkly colored and has no white on her different than for her chin. i think she's probably the main multi-colored cat ever. She's black, gray, bronze, ginger and slightly of white on her chin.
