Call the Suicide Hotline immediately. After that tell your parents. After that tell any other adult that you trust or you minister, high school counsellor if you are that age.

It's good that you want help. Your parents should be the first people you talk to. They were the first people I told. And they are more understanding then people think. You should talk to a therapist about it, try to figure out why it is that you're doing it. A lot of the time (not all the time) Hurting yourself is a sign of punishment. I totally understand why people do it, it makes you feel better when you are angry. But. I know a friend who almost died from accidentally cutting to deep, she didn't even mean to. That right there tells you, that accidents happen. Please get help. It does help to talk about it. I hope I helped. God Bless!

first you need to tell your parents. if you are living at home, and you are scared to, the first people to tell would be your parents. they can give you more support than you think. they can get you the help that you need. all you have to do is commit to it. that is the only way you can truly get better. to figure out why you are doing it in the first place. being able to talk to someone can really help. and to let go of all things that are causing you to feel the pain. The reasoning behind feeling better when you are cutting yourself. It shouldn't be pain+pain=feeling better. Good luck! I hope you get the help you need. You never know what you could miss out on by not being here if you go too far. I already know this. I would have missed my children's birthday's and weddings and just way too much. =)

I am happy that you want to stop it,that is a wise choice.
I recommend you to talk with your parents if you really trust them or with somebody in your family.
Or you can stop it by yourself. You can find out something else to do instead of damaging yourselves like drawing, writing songs.Or when you are really mad, you can do like me get a crayon or something and write very hard in a paper,or scream in your pillow...

Hope this will help you!!!

HONESTLY ask yourself how your parents would handle it. If you believe they would (or one would) tell them. If not, call a hotline. Go to the nearest ER or to your family doctor, definetly. You need medical attention. Tell an adult who would be in the position to understand. Do not let fear stop you, anyone would be scared for you, but you have to take a chance.

You should tell your parents and a therapist or councilor if you have one. It's very important that you seek help immediately. Best of luck to you.

if you have someone in your life who you consider a role model, or even a good friend, you can start there. i know it's hard to start with your parents... your doctor is also a good person to start with if you have one, b/c he or she will be able to connect you with the resources you need to get help.

someone you trust....it doesn't have to be your parents right now, unless it gets worse...when I did, I told a teacher

I guess I don't really know how bad it is, but you might need to see a psychologist

I'm going through it now, so feel free to email me
