My doctor recommended that I eat 5-6 small meals a day instead of 3 main meals.

It would be easy for me to do because I'm a SAHM, but can anyone provide some examples of small meals? And maybe a schedule of when to eat them?

I eat small meals throughout the day as well. Here's an example of one of my days. You may need to alter it according to your body and diet.

Breakfeast (7:45 am): 1 scrammbled egg, a grape fruit, half a banana.

2nd meal: (9:30): Yogurt with flax, some berries, and granola.

Lunch: (12:30 p.m.): Salad with chicken, tomatoes, green peppers, mushrooms and a bit of cheese. Use a bit of vinegar and pepper. No creamy dressings.

4th meal: (3:30 p.m.): 1/2 pita with a bit of natural peanut butter on it. Raw carrots, broccoli and/or cucumber.

Dinner: (6:30 p.m.): Salmon with some spinach or another veggie on the side.

6th meal: (8:00--depends when you go to sleep): 1-2 cups of warm milk.

I eat 1-2 500calorie meals..and 2-3 50-100calorie snacks.

eat about every 3 hours. eat what you usually do, just not all in three meals. eat the meat for one meal and the vegetables for another.

No I eat like twice a day or so. Only because I drink lots of water and fluids so I dont really get hungry..

well I usually eat alot more than that!LOL!! ( i am 12 years old and skinny) but right now i have food piosdining (throwing up like crazy!!) So i xcan't eat anything at all and 4 tommorow and maybie even the next day! ( I am starving now!!! boo me!)
