i didnt say it was all wrong yes i agree with getting for reason im talking about ppl who use it as a form of birthcontrol oh and by the way you say it a fetus and not a baby...but it can feel and notice mommys voice i think by 12 weeks is it...this question is for ppl who think its right when nothing is wrong with you or the baby i believe i read that 1% have abortion becaue of insest and 3% rape so umm tell me if im wrong is it the other 96% having one just because?

and just to let all you annoying answer ppl know yea i have thought of all that rape disorders not living...etc BUT the reason for my posting was (not that i thought i had to explain my self but i guess i was wrong) My mother-in-law told me that i was to have a abortion if anything was wrong with my child (heart promblem runs inthe family but its livable) and she had told me if i didnt have an abortion that she would not except my child in to her family (yes i know its my choice i was just wonder what other ppl thought) but wow ppl im not the judge mental on you are oh yeah incase you ppl really needed to know yea my mom had an abortion (she had her tubes tied after) too and some one i also know has had 11 abortion only because she doesnt want ay more kids taht is my point so what ever make up your own question and answer it about abortion i guess thats what the rest of the ppl did

DaniZ i think ur point and the end about only being adopted if ur white with blonde hair and blue eyes is very racial and really not the case at all! u r a very small minded person to think that! and if u read the question written it says do u think abortion should be used as birth control? and no it shouldnt! the question doesnt ask why abortion SHOULD be used!!
what about all those girls that go out and have casual sex fall pregnant and cant deal with it so abort that is not right! we have sex to reproduce that is the point of it if u wanna get technical!
so unless there is a problem with the baby or the mother or under certain circumstance i dont agree with abortion!!
how would u feel if ur mum aborted you for no reason just because she didnt want a baby!!

Abortion is wrong. If it were only done to save the mother's life or in rape there wouldn't be millions and millions. People want what they want now. So they don't take time to use birth control. It's not very often that birth control fails especially if you're very careful. Abortion has become accepted and way too easy. Give these babies up for adoption if they're not wanted. And to the people that say adopt kids already here, some you can. But very sadly some are already messed up by the so called parents so bad that a lot of these people saying it would not take them into their homes.There's not that many very young children. They're left with no good parents until they're older and ruined to society.

I do think abortion is the only choice in some circumstances...I do not believe in using it as birth control...

I chose to have my son...I was a young single mother, and I heard plenty of opinions when I got pregnant...I was told at a health clinic, by protesters outside, that abortion was murder...my answer was, "Instead of protesting abortion, why aren't you volunteering at a home or a school for single mothers?"

Many single moms are told that abortion is an evil option, but they are left in very difficult situations when they choose to have the baby...at the school for single parents (a very good one, with a daycare program...God bless them!) I went to, I saw 15 year olds with two children, 13 year olds having a baby, 17 year olds with four children...these girls were too young to sign leases, too young to work, most had been thrown out by their families...they were desperate, and living on social assistance...not a very good start for a young baby!

I think that abortion is used too much as a birth control method, but the girls who get pregnant over and over are obviously not using (or know how to use properly) birth control anyways...

It is a difficult choice for anyone, but one made more difficult by propaganda, other people's opinions and lack of systems in place to make a true choice! Please, unless you are in that situation, do not condemn someone else's choice...

No its not ok to use as a form of birthcontrol But i feel that a woman should have the right to choose. I know that if I had an illness that carrying an unborn baby would kill me and leave my other 2 children without a mother, I would have to consider it. I think in some situations its not ok, but possibly something that has to do. Then its between that woman and her God.

i just couldn't see myself doing that to my child no matter what. what if your parents didn't want to have you ? instead of killing an infant turn them over to child services as soon as you deliver. at least they will have a life. then again there are other reasons why some choose this route. i was raped when i was 18 and i was afraid i was going to get pregnant or catch a disease but luckily that was not the case however if had got pregnant would i have had a abortion ? i didn't know then and i still don't know today. i guess what I'm trying to say is even though it is wrong to do sometimes you might not have any other choice. so don't judge someone until you hear the whole story and then draw your own conclusion.

I dont agree with abortion, but I believe in the right to choose.
There are alot of different reasons why women have abortions. The ones who just do it as a means of birth control (and there are those who do) are the ones who make it worse. I FULLY believe in you play.......you pay......no matter what the age, but in some cases.........abortion is the best alternative.

Yes, it's still OK.

The probably with those pictures are that they aren't actually of abortions. Most of those pictures are either stillborns or miscarriages or way off on the time frame.

Using grotesque pictures doesn't do anything to stop abortion. It just makes you look misinformed. Do your own research and make your own decisions before you throw around pictures trying to make people feel bad.

And adding a question mark to the end of a sentence doesn't make it a question.

Why don't you take a class of fetal development, and then look at those pictures again. Those aren't 8-12 week fetuses. Those are stillbirths and late-term miscarriages. At the very most, a few may be late-term abortions. Those make up less than 2% of all abortions performed.

Before you get caught up in fanatical anti-choice propaganda, research the truth.

Hello abortion is legal. I am for abortion for many different reasons and even though i haven't had one if i did want one then i would not care what people like you think/thought.

I would have an abortion for the following reasons:
1)If i were raped
2)If the fetus had something horribly wrong with it and would only suffer a horrible life.
3)If my life were in danger and i was told i would die if i followed through with the pregnancy then i would abort because i would not want to leave my son motherless.
4)If i did not or could not handle another kid.

It is not your decision on why people have abortions. If you seem to think it is murder then how can you support the troops that kill people everyday? Abortion is a medical procedure not shooting someone in the head like the troops do.

You are confusing laws and morals.

Laws must be based on the law, and giving fetuses rights that supercedes the mother's is against the basic tenants of the legal system.

The morality of it is a completely different issue.
