Briefly, if you believe the Bible is the Word of God, it contains eye-witness accounts of the miracles that Jesus did to confirm that He was the Son of God.
Further information ...
There are outside of the Bible references that claimed Jesus performed magic tricks (the Jewish historian Josephus for example) to trick the people. So even though Josephus did not believe Jesus was the son of God, he collaborates that He was doing some fantastic things during His life.
So if you believe the world was created by Intelligent Design which all the evidence tells me is the case, we know there IS a God. However, the creation does not tell us about God. I believe the only reasonable explanation ABOUT God is the Bible (the Bible is quite unique -- there is NO OTHER BOOK LIKE IT).
According to the Bible, the Jewish leaders of the day wanted to put Jesus to death because He made himself God/equal to God/the Son of God. Jesus confirmed His position by His miracles which is also how the Word of God was confirmed by the Apostles and former prophets.
Here are the beautiful words from John 1 ...
"1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
...
14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. "
The Bible is very clear on this subject. Anyone that disagrees has to go through some linguistic gymnastics to make those verses saying anything other than that Jesus is the Son of God.

All you have to prove that you are the son of your parents is a small scrap of paper. There is 10 times more written to say that Jesus is the Son of God.. And you ask for proof.. Sorry Time machine is out for lubrication this week... Jim

Prove, prove. prove. We christians don't have to prove anything, Just read the Bible. It is God's Word, and yes Jesus is the son of God.

It is not for me to prove, that is the job of the Holy Spirit. The Bible proves that Jesus was the Son of God.

The term "Son of God" was originally "Sun of God" from the Egyptians. The Catholic Church changed it to suppress Sun worshiping.

you really dont need to prove anything.. its just what you believe.. if you believe that jesus is the son of god thats all you need.
