When I was about four, my sister (three years older) convinced me to try margarine in ice cream. It was just about the most disgusting thing I've ever tasted in my life! Did you try any weird food mixtures as a kid (or when you were older)?

Boy, some of those are pretty weird combinations. Are they things that were mixed together, or just in the same meal? I have to agree that french fries dipped in milkshakes are pretty good.

I ate these at the same time when I was pregnant with my first son. They were tomato juice, garbanzo beans, and banana bread. Don't know if you would consider that weird or not but it sure tasted good at the time. Have never eaten another garbanzo bean since, in fact don't know why I wanted them then, had never even tried them before that.
