I hear no one on here saying anything about anybody else who is illegal except Mexican. I guess that is ok for all of you if the rest come come illegaly & stay, as long if they are not Mexican ?

And this is where racism takes part in some people against illegal immigration. There are studies that prove that the second country exporting the largest number of illegal immigrants is Canada, yet you don't see people complaining about Canadians. When asked why, they will tell you that Canadians don't bring high crime rates and live off welfare. Now, how would they know this? Canadian people perfectly dilute with white Americans, therefore making it almost impossible to get accurate statistics for them. Some people just assume that Latin American is synonym of criminal.

None of them. Illegals should not stay, they should be deported immediately, and their home countries billed for their costs.
On the question of LEGAL immigration, IF the United States found itself in need of unskilled labor, and there is no shortage right now and there is unlikely to be any shortage soon, then immigrants from East Asia are the most cost-effective. China is one of the largest English-speaking countries in the world. East Asia has precious few natural resources, yet those countries are emerging as economic tigers. Why? Because of the people who live there.
Latin america has abundant natural resources, yet it remains an area of unbelieveable corruption, illiteracy in any language, and poverty. Why? Because of the people who live there. Nature is not politically correct. Visit Los Angeles and see what happens when the third world invades.

I know that it's not just Mexicans. There are people from the Bahamas and a whole lot of Somalians here where I live. I don't think they are all legal residents. I just think it's messed up when they can get health care and Americans are suffering and can't go to the doctor. America should take of her own then lend a helping hand. All this money spent on a war but they can't ask congress for money for schools or health-care. Crazy to me

We don't want anyone here illegally. This has been said many times: people complain about Mexicans the most because Mexicans make up about 90% of the illegal aliens in this country.

The reason people mention mexicans when they are talking about ILLEGALS, is because the MAJORITY of illegals are from mexico!!
THEY are the ones marching in our streets and DEMANDING things that ONLY belong to LEGAL U.S. citizens!!
THEY are the ones INSULTING the citizens of this country by hanging OUR flag upside down UNDER the mexican flag!!!

I live in Arizona. And 99% of the illegal aliens are from south of the border. The Border Patrol list them as 99% Mexican and 1% OTM. I personally don't care where they come from. If they are in this nation via illegal means then they are breaking the law. Since more than half of all illegal aliens are Mexican, people erroneously think that all illegal aliens come from Mexico.
Any one from any country of any color,nationality,
heritage or country of origin that is in this nation illegally needs to leave this nation or be prepared to be arrested and deported.
Its not about who the illegal aliens are . Its about the damage being done to my city ,my state and my country. The increased cost to the legal American tax payer that has to pay for schools, hospitals, incarceration, entitlements etc for the illegal alien and his or her family.
Which illegal alien would I prefer??
How about none.
How many more poor under educated people can this nation take before it collapses into abject poverty for all and becomes just another 3rd world country ? Lets help those country's help their own people in their own country's.

Well I'd prefer that no one comes here illegally, just causes massive problems for them if they ever get caught. As for who, anybody with a strong work ethic, a willingness to become an active part of mainstream society (not working and living with exclusively with people from their native country) and a strong desire and drive to learn English. Race, color or creed really don't matter.

Being an illegal immigrant has nothing to do with color, race, or creed. The fact that most talk you hear is about the illegal mexicans is because the mexicans keep bringing it up.

Who do I want to come here illegally and stay ? How about no one, I could care less what country your from, nor what color you are, if you are here illegally, you need to leave, or be deported. Come to the U. S. A., legally, or not at all.

I wouldn't choose for anyone to come illegally and stay. They should have to go through the process of becoming an American citizen. Who wants illegal immigrants crowding our country and taking our jobs?

We should be using a merit system that allows the best educated, and those with skills, to immigrate. The system now is stacked in favor of family reunification even if nobody in the family got past the second grade.
