Everything is natural. We're just not smart enough to understand it all yet.

I am a scientist; most scientists are either agnostic or atheists. I am also a schizophrenic. One percent (one in 100) of the human population are schizophrenic.

As a scientist I studied quantum mechanics. It is the most predictive theory in science. It has many aspects which are "spooky". That is things happen that seem supernatural. A reference below will allow you to experince these things imaginatively as it is not technical. Most scientists do not believe the quantum theory is the final answer; they "hold out" for a futire discovery that will explain these spooky things.

As a schizophrenic I have had hallucinations. That is I have "heard voices" in my mind (like mental telepathy) that were not my little thought voice. Sometimes these voices were male sometimes female. Sometimes there were many of them like a chorus so loud they forced me to my knees. I have also seen things, like poltergeist happenings. Bright lights moving through a room (not fireflies because they were red) that a pet cat also saw as he was batting at them with his paws. I have had unexplained things happen like lights turning on when there was no one near the switch or radios and TVs playing while no one turned them on or off and the switch did not move.

These latter hallucinatory happenings, when reported to others, got me admitted to a mental hospital (because they disrupted my life so violently) and medication. I have had no hallucinations for about the past ten years and am still on neuroleptic meds.

No there is nothing supernatural. That isn't to say experiences can't happen that are extreme, but still just natrual.
