I'm not sure what you are actually asking.
In the Army they don't pay your family, you draw hazardous duty pay & safe pay, and if you are married family seperation pay but that's it. (& by the by family seperation pay is paid for any seperation over 30 days which is why field time is usually held to 29 days).
There is no special pay to families other than the above in the Army -- and NO Mom&Dad don't get family seperation pay only spouses.

Heaven for bid, they pay the soldier, but it sure does help the family cope to be able to do things together with other families that would not be done normally to help the time go by to bring home the soldiers to their families. LOL.
Bring the troops home.

NO. They pay the soldier, just like they would regardless of where they are on active duty. They are doing their job and they are getting paid for doing their job. What other pay do you think should be paid? I get paid plenty as an active duty Sailor how much more do you think we should get?

How do you mean? In addition to what they are already paid? Generally the sevice(wo)man is responsible for their finances. How they deal with paying their bills is of no concern to the US DoD, so long as it is not resultant in legal action.
