I have always been interested in older guys. Currently I have been dating this guy who is 19 years older than me. I'm 22 he is 41. Now honestly I love this guy and he is my everything, but I really wanted to know what people thought about it.

The question should be, "what do you think about it", because if you base your feelings on what society thinks, you will never be happy, if the 2 of you are a good match, you should give it a chance and if it works go for it. Society will not look kindly on any unless it is hetrosexual, so I would be more interested in how I felt about being with a person 22 years older than me. I don`t think age would be a factor with me, if I knew he was the right one.

i think that you should follow your heart. Who cares what other people think. What really matters is if you really care for this guy. Age is just a number just like race is just a color i dont feel like there is anything wrong with you dating him because he's older. you do what is right for you not what is right for everyone else. If everyone listened to other peoples thoughts and beliefs what would this world be like? pretty scary thought.

It's a bit unusual, but not wrong. My father was 14 years older than my mother. She was 22 when they married, I think.
