How do I switch browsers from Microsoft Internet Explorer to another web browser?

Simply install the new browser. If you're looking for one, I can suggest Mozilla Firefox- go to www.getfirefox.com to download it. If IE remains your default browser, you can change that by going to "Set program access and defaults" from the start menu.

you just stop using it and download firefox adn use it instead of Explorer. good luck

download and install firefox, or opera..or whatever you want.
