whats makes up the nervous system?

All of them makes up the nervous system.

The nervous system of humans ( and other veribrates) are divded into Two parts - the central nervous system (CNS) and the peripheral nervous system (PNS).

CNS includes the brain and spinal cord. The PNS includes all other nerves and neurons. Both CNS and PNS together makes up the nervous system, because one neither of them will be fully functional without the other, so to work as a 'system' both CNS and PNS is required.

PNS is farther divided into

The somatic nervous system controls the 'concious' activities. Like the movements of your fingers when you type something.

The autonomic nervous system control actions those are not in the scope of our 'concious' control. Actions like constriction of of your pupils or dialation of your blood vessels, or your gasteric movements.

Autonomous nervous system is farther divided into
.........>sympathetic nervous system
.........> parasympathetic n. system

Sympahtetic nervous system acts on your "fight or flight" responses: when your body is under stress.
In the contrary, parasympathetic nervous system acts on the process of relaxation. It dispalys the reverse effect of sympsthetic nervous system.

All of these together make up our nervous system.
