What kind of papers? If you mean history of veterinary care, then yes-they will need proof the dog is up to date on rabies, and sometimes DHLPP combo & parasite check too at some hospitals. If your dog is not current, many vets will update the vaccines at the time of admission to the hospital.
Some counties and cities have a "vicious dog policy" that requires all so called "bad dog breeds" have a perimant form of ID like a microchip or state tattoo, but many vets are willing to look the other way on these.

Any dog, of any breed, can be neutered (or spayed) at a vet clinic usually after the first few months of life. For males, it is recommended neutering before 5 years of age to help prevent testicular and prostate cancer. For females, neutering before their first heat is recommended, again, to prevent cancer later in life. If you have zero intention to breed (and, IMO, only people who know how to breed dogs should do so - there are far too many unwanted dogs in this world, 90% of which end up in shelters), neutering or spaying by 6 months should be appropriate for most dogs.
I assume by "papers" you mean AKC papers. If you have a purebred, where his parents were registered, then the pup can also be registered and you can obtain the papers. This is fully independent of neutering, unless you signed a "contract" with the breeder who stated that she will supply papers only after neutering.
Hope this helps!

What are you talking about?????They need something from a vet stating that they are Healthy,up to date on immunizations, and deworming.Otherwise I do not think that registration papers would offer any news that the Vet would need??Rephrase your question so we can understand what you want to know. What kind of "Papers" are you referring to???????.By all means get your dog neutered!!That is a good thing.Good Luck!!!!

I don't think so... Can't thnk why they would. I thinkyou mean registration papers? Well, if they only neutered PBs then there'd be a helluva lot more mutts running around.
If you mean vet records, then you may need to do some tests and get some vaccines and all that.

The only thing you need to get ANY dog neutered is a rabies certificate. And if it has not had a rabies shot, the vet will do it all at the same time!

If you mean registration papers, the answer is no. They will neuter any dog whose owner requests it.

You only need papers on dogs if they're from a breeder and they're purebreds.
