People give me great advice, yet I still have new problems that arise. They always have something to do with confidence or my interpretation of things. Cure me. Why do I allow myself to become so angry?

Control your anger. Forget about paying for expensive psychiatrists who do nothing but nod at you all day. Just take a deep breath and let it roll of your shoulder.

Smiling at criticisms works wonders.

What a goof! A Dr? yah.. like a doc would waste time here offering advice for free!
You made the first step in acknowledging that you need help. That is very hard to do. Cure is not what you should be looking for but coping is what you need. You need the tools to deal with your emotions. This is a part of you that you will have and need to find ways of controling. You are in control remember that. When you feel yourself gearing up.. step back and do the count. Then look at the situation and ask yourself it is is worth getting angry and at what degree? 1-10 10 being the most angry and this should only be if someone physically hurt you. This will help you to put things into perspective. Depending on how old you are, there should be agencies that can teach you more. Take care!

Until you learn not to expect other people to fix you, you will always have this problem. Other people cannot give you what you need to be happy. You have have the answers within you, you just have to learn how to find them.

Boy didn't that sound like some psychobabble runaround. Seriously though, no one can cure you. You have to cure yourself. Everyone gets bitter and angry at times, you just have to learn how to say, this is really no big deal in the big scheme of things, and move past it.

Nobody can cure this, other than you. Your issues are confidence. Pretend to be confident and it will eventually stick. I used to have major confidence issues and I still have minor issues from time to time. But not nearly as often as I used to.
For interpretation- try to consider all possible meanings and talk to other people before assuming anything
Anger- Breath. Don't get mad over things you can't control.

this PhdP guy needs a life. Don't listen to him, no self respecting psychiatrist would diagnose online or recommend treatment.
No one can make you bitter or angry, you do that to yourself.
You must feel a lack of control over your life, and that leads to anger that you transfer to others. You would do well to consult a therapist for anger management.

fear of being controlled and feeling you are loosing your freedom to be in complete control. when other people threaten this it makes you angry. i have the same problem but i am working on it. my life is easier now and i don't suffer from insomia anymore. the sharp pains in my knees and shoulders are gone. i have noticed that hypnosis helps. plus practicing calming down. look for things and people to admire more than studying people who make you mad. moonraven

i have been through this, even cost me a longterm job i had cause i was so bitter......the reason is, is that you are unhappy with yourself and/or your life. sit down and analyze everything, find out whats bothering you and change it, i know, easier said than done......
