So, I recently started (about two weeks ago) eating less portions, more often (6 small meals of veggies and fruit, some grain) to get healthy/ lose weight. Also started drinking a gallon of water a day. Began to lose about a pound a day (or so) last few days, I have maintained or gained weight, all the water seems to be staying in me and I am bloated.

The answers say to drink more water, but I am already drinking so much- what do I do to get my body on track and lose this water I seem to be retaining?

I would look at the fact that some of the foods we eat naturally have sodium in them and you might want to take a herbal water pill to flush the excess water or try a capful of vinegar in a glass of water you'll be peeing like a race horse or take some cranberry juice tablets that too will get you peeing really fast, but get a water pill that contains a small amount of potassium because when you lose water you lose key nutrients and potassium is one of them which is key for heart health and you want to take the prescribed amount and follow the directions because you don't want to make yourself sick. If you're retaining water that can be the sign of edema which means your kidneys arent pushing fluids out as fast.
