If you are still in their house then you are subject to their rules, so if you really feel smothered, and treated like a young child, get your own place. So what is it that you want to do that they won't let you do? Or what is it that they expect you to be doing that you aren't?

My family did the same thing to me especially if you are the youngest or only child. Just remember that your family loves you and they probably don't want you to be making mistakes with your life. Still today some people in my family still treat me like that and I'm done with college. Just remember your not the only one that goes through this.

Hi

Your family obviously loves you a lot and don't want to see anything bad happen to you . Hey , I am in my 30's , I work , live on my own , go to school and my family is the same way with me .

Take care
C

People can only make you feel bad IF you let them. Get your own place and you shall have all the freedom you can stand.

they want the best for you
but maybe you should talk to them about this issue
confront them and tell them that your no longer 10 and you have your own life and you feel that their opinions and judgements aren't benefiting you
