Dog fighting is a common way dogs establish a pecking order. If you have only had one for two weeks, then there is still an adjustment period they will both be going through. Intervene if it gets dangerous, but for the most part, this is something they need to work out and they will be better because of it. When we adopted our O.E.S. mix, she and my Lhasa got into some pretty severe fights in the first month or so. Eventually, they determined who was going to be the leader of the pack. Now they play and sleep together with no problem.

Try to socialize the two dogs with the one being more aggressive with a muzzle I know it sounds mean but it works. As far as the crate training try to feed your dog in the early morning and then take for a walk in the afternoon or evening and this should help with the dog not going in the crate. Remember that the dog has to go to the bathroom several times a day just like people and take the dog straight from the create to the door so it knows to use the bathroom outside. I have done this with all of my dogs and I have 10 of them and no messes in my house ever. Good luck and if you have problems getting the two dogs to get along then take them to training classes.

Put both animals in there own cage. Slowly move the cages closer every 5 or 10 minutes. Repeat until the cages are real close. (face to face practically) Animals will really have no choice but ot get used to each other. You may have to do this alot. They will get used to each other and yet they wont be able to physically contact each other or fight.

you need to decide who is the pack leader, you are incharge then the first one you got is probably second always favor that one, they should eat first, get pet first,greeted1st it seems unfair to us but that is how dogs work they will stop fighting over "top dog" if you support their ranking. if you don't they may start to be aggressive towards you as well. you have to treat the runt decently just not as you would the other one
