Where i work there is a guy that forges names just to get the deals through to the bank, so he can get paid....when everyone knows but the general manager and no one has the guts to stand up to him and say something...im told to keep to myself but this ridiculous!!..what would you do?

As far as I can see, you have two options ...
1) Ignore the situation.
2) Mail an anonymous, typed letter to the general manager.
If you do go with the option #2, make sure there's nothing to tie it back to you ... for example, mail it from a nearby city, don't let anyone else know you've looked up the general manager's business address, etc.
Having been through similar situations, I would tend to go with option #1 if the people whose signature he forges know that he's doing it for them to expedite the process. If he's signing without their consent, that's a different story.
You have to make the decision that's best for you.

If he's stealing from the company, Go over their heads w/ an anonymous typed letter to bring to the attention of & tell what you know, maybe give a name. If it's not taking from the company, then leave it alone. He & the manager will probably lose their jobs anyway & that means an opening for maybe you.

Tell your general manager! What is wrong with your coworkers that they are allowing someone to commit fraud? Do they have something to hide? People who lack integrity like that have no place working in a bank where they have control of everyone's money! If you don't feel comfortable going to your GM, try to report it anonymously. Is there a corporate hotline you can call?

If you know for fact that this goes on, contact the police and notify them of the fraud. Maybe draft an anonymous letter regarding the situation and send it to the General Manager. Good luck. If you don't want to do either, maybe contact an ombudsman (that's if your company has one.)

You won't lose your job -- the guy is stealing from other people and probably the company too. Your GM needs to know what kind of person he has working for him. I understand you don't want to be the narc but others will be relieved even if they don't show it. Its not fair to you or anyone. And you can ask to remain anyomous they have to respect it its the law.

Find the phone number for your "State Charter" each state has regulations for banks. You can also contact the FDIC if your bank is insured there.
Lastly, local news channels love this stuff. Usually, they're anonymous if you request this.

Forgery is a crime and I believe you have an ethical obligation to let the general manager know, I believe you would feel better, the fact that you are questioning this shows me that you already know this.

Report it to your local police department. That is fraud. Most likely, you can ask to remain anonymous and if so many people "know" of this fraud, it won't be suspected right away that you are the one who initiated the call.
