When King signs a fighter how does it typically work? Is he given a set number of fights to promote over a certain time period? He has to guarantee a certain amount each fight? Does he have it in contract to pay less if the fighter losses?
Where could I find a sample of a contract Don King would have his fighters sign?

This is a good question it does not matter if you sign a contract with Don King Bob Arum or Golden Boy it is the same contract the only difference is Don King is a black man . Every fighter knows what he is signing a standard contract is for one year white no more than 6 fights and the promoter gets 33 and a third of the fighters purse now this figure can change there is a lot of other language in the contract but for the most part that is it most fighters will never sign a contract in there life like this because they will never get offered one. Now here is the big thing when a promoter comes along and offers a fighter a contract a fighter will do anything to sign it now after they sign it they may not like how things are going then they want out well most fighters don,t have enough money to go to court so they cry about there deal but believe me it,s not Don King the thing white Ameriaica don,t like to see a smart black man running things andI am not a Don King fan but he is the greatest promoter that has ever lived he puts on the best boxing matches of anyone the next time you see a Bob Arum fight card look at who is on his under card you wont know who the fighters are or they can,t fight check it out this is the first time I go a chance to answer this question

With Don across the table from you, you had better be wearing a large crucifix, and come draped with at least a dozen strings of garlic before you sign anything. Best advice in dealing with King is to do so in broad daylight, guys like Don are weaker in direct sunlight. Don is getting half, right off the top, your paying all incidentals, you cover your own corner men, and when all is said and done, your going to be bleeding heavily from both the wallet, and the bank account.

The upside is once Don sinks the fangs in you, you are immortal until someone drives a wooden stake through your heart.

His ghoul cuts your finger, then scribes the contract in blood. Then Don King performs a ritual sacrifice. Then you have to hug him. Somewhere in this he takes your soul.
