Hell no. They have never delivered a package of mine on time and even lost several of them. NEVER TIP THEM.

NO. I take it you are a woman? My dad says women have a problem and always over tip and tip everyone. I am a woman but i know not to tip them. Would you tip the mailman from the USPS? No. Fedex is the SAME THING. They are doing their job and are paid a good wage. You tip waitresses because they only get paid 2 bucks an hour and make most of their money from tips.

In general, like very time they deliver, that is not customary. Giving them a Christmas gift is fairly normal. To all of the answers who seemed to think these guys make WAY too much money. you have no friggin idea how hard they work for it. Yes it is a fair wage, for a very physical job with a ton of responsibility.
I am a mail carrier, and my customers give me lots of cute token gifts at Christmas, cards and candy at valentines, and little things and gift cards when I least expect it, thy are nice and appreciate he excellent service that I give them. Yes, we have standards of gifts that we can accept, just so it is appropriate. As far as my wage is concerned, I work my butt off for every single penny of it, and guy....they are hiring in North Texas if you think you have what it takes. The bare minimum is a clean driving record, clean criminal record, and passing a drug test and physical.

No. If they are with the post office they cannot take tips anyway. But if they are with those independent package carriers, the answer is no. Seriously, I know some people who moonlight with those companies and they are very, very well paid. They don't need the money. T

Nope, you do not have to tip them. They get a wage just like any regular job. If you do tip though, they will expect a tip everytime; especialy since they are usualy asigned the same route for a while. We had one guy assigned to our route for over a year.

No they make an excellent wage. Remember tip is for a personal service, delivering a package does not constitute personal service!

NO, it fairly is beside the point..... in case you do get a number of of applications introduced and a similar driving force continuously brings them, you need to in all probability supply him a small present on the vacations...yet even it somewhat is kinda stretching it
