It was an awesome movie, with annoying sex scenes that weren't necessary.
As a Muslim, I don't understand Iran's objections to the movie. Xerxes said he was a god, he needed to be killed by someone.
Iran is now a Muslim country and must realize the Persian Empire did a lot of things that were not good. Get over it.

I saw it two days ago in a movie theatre in Crete Greece, and let me tell you it was the most fun I've ever had going to the movies. Not only was the movie the best I've seen in Years, but the celebration afterwards was just downright amazing. Greeks really know how to have a good time when their national pride is bloated to the seams! Great movie!

Never saw it. The historical inaccuracies would really get to me. They show the embellished version of the battle of Thermopylae. It also looked like it was filmed in a way that I would not like.

Yes, it was fantastical, true, but then again it was being told as a story of heroism, so of course it leads to embellishment. I thought parts of it were brilliant.
