you do not even need a ged to start taking classes. i promise! you just need to get it before you get your diploma. i have gone to 2 community schools, and i have had even the most experienced advisers & ged instructors tell me that that is bs & i am prolly just taking remedial classes, but im taking real classes, on my way to a rn license. so, yeah, just sign up...and if someone tries to tell you you need your ged, tell them they're wrong & make them check the policy.

you can go to community college without a ged, i have a ba but still no ged or high school. you should save some money and get the algebra, language and other things from senior year free or you'll have to retake them when you test at DCCC. but anyone can go to community college.

Certain courses require you to have previous abilities like calc 1 before calc 2, but anyone can go to this "community" school, old woman can just go take potery or volleyball (maybe not volleyball). It may seem to down grade it a little but i started at one and i respect the institution. I would like to go back and teach in my small town community college someday.
