My b/f just got diagnoised with mono about a month and a half ago.. we were just wanting to know when we should be able to kiss again.. without him spreading this too me.. his doctor won't answer this question for him.. and i'm getting irrated with it.. lol.. if anyone can answer this that would be great!

since the doc won't answer and if he's been subscribed medication, i would suggest waiting until all of the medication has been taken. there's more things for you all to do than waiting on a kiss.

It depends on how bad he had it. I had it really bad, and it lasted 4 months. My husband was in Iraq at the time, so I didn't have to worry about not kissing anyone. Usually the virus stays in you for up to a year, but like I said, it depends on how bad you have it. If he has it really bad, I would wait a while longer. If it was just a short/termporary illness, I would only wait a few more weeks. I guess, just kiss him when you feel it is right.

I don't think that this will be a great to me to kiss him, I mean if the doctor didn't tell you anything maybe he trying to say something from his silentness.
