My last question must have offended someone since it only lasted long enough for 9 people to answer. So I'm posting it again right here.
Question Details: Do you boys agree that if you are dating a girl and break her heart that her Dad should get to
A. Choke you with his bare hands.
B. Repeatedly hit you with an axe.
C. Shoot you on sight like a wild dog.
D. All of the above.
I'm voting for D. It sounds more fun. It is this or maybe you kids should forget about dating until you get to college. Girls you should stop and think, is this the guy who I want to spend my life with. Think about his characteristics, his ability to support himself (remember girls you have to support yourself), will he be a good family man or do you just like his looks? These are questions you should ask yourself about every boy and boys about every girl. Then maybe we can stop these Does he/she like me, so-n-so broke up with me, what do I do questions.

Boys, just how more careful would be if you had to face these consequences for your actions. I bet there would be a huge drop in teen pregnancies.

I say "ALL OF THE ABOVE" ....
I have a daughter and a son. I am trying to raise my son to be a MAN not a scum who is looking for a woman to take care of him.
My son is five, likes to help cook, opens the door for women when we are in public, washes his hands after using the toilet, likes to look nice and not like a slob... totally unlike his father.

ha well I guess many people would still throw me into the category of "kid" since I am only 17, but I actually do look at his characteristics and stuff. I can't look at how he supports himself at my age, but I can look at his plans for the future which may indicate that. The punishments you gave aren't really appropriate in my opinion. There are a lot of factors that could cause a girl to get her heart broken, so it may not be 100% the guy's fault. Even if it is, physically attacking him isn't an appropriate way to handle it. It won't solve any of the problems, it won't make the girl feel any better, and it could result in you going to jail. However, I do agree that those "does he/she like me" type of questions do get old, but I try not to judge since it's often a real issue for the people who are asking.
