Depends on the County. Usually about 6 weeks. Some places are quicker. Some are backlogged and take longer.

Usually about 2 weeks after it's filed by the presiding authority. If the cause of death is in doubt, it can take a LONG time for the filing to happen.

if you go to the funeral home or coroner you can get it immediately. you can also have it faxed from the coroner or funeral home to the official who needs it, but it has to be direct. if you order it by mail and need a certified copy, it takes a couple of weeks.
