i work at a convenient store that sells liquor and i want to know how to tell which IDs are fake. we have trouble with underage kids coming in all the time. any advice?

Pull out your ID and look for the identifying marks, and memorize them. In Missouri, there are watermarks, holofoil, etc. Yours should have something similar.
Always make the kid take the ID out of their billfold, because if it is a cheap one it might not have the same weight as a real, or it might just feel "wrong."
Look closely at the edges to make sure the edges are alined and that it doesn't look like there are seams or anything.
Also, if you are suspicious, tell 'em to piss off. You always have the right to refuse service.

ID'S are fake if they don't have the hologram on them when shifted in different directions. Also they are often different colors then they are surposed to be for your state.

Most stores and bars have a book for what to look for with each state! That is the best way and since it is your butt I would ask that you get one then you are covered.

there are only two or three states that still have the old style licenses. Not sure which one they are. Always look for holograms, study the picture, if not sure, ask their astrological sign or ask for another piece of identification.

my nephew was in the business of making fake id's but he is now serving time for it;( but i couldn't tell his fake from my real they were that good.
