At the time that Mary and Joseph were traveling to Jerusalem to participate in the Roman census of the Jews, the name Jesus was as common as names like "John" or "Mark" or "Greg" in the West. Your question is only compelling in that light. As far as Jesus being a god or a god, Jr. your question looses meaning and my interest.

I think we all should. If God is an ocean then we are all individual glasses of God in my book - just like Jesus, beloved divine children of the Universe. I am pretty sure he even says we are all children of God.
Peace!

Lots you know. What difference does it make what His name is, it is what He has done for people that matters. Jesus is not a "Jr." If you had one ounce of sense you would know that, go back to Sunday School. And for the Einstein above me "Christ" means, " The anointed one", its not His last night.

There is no such thing as a junior GOD.
Joseph called him Jesus. The Father said He should be called Emmanuel GOD with us.

the trinity is not found in the bible. God robed himself in flesh as Jesus. God is the Father, the Son, and the Holyghost they are all one in the same
