Many of the men that I know say that a woman without stretch marks is not a truly a woman. It is a badge of creating a new life.
Now, I am vain too, do not get me wrong, but I wouldn't be too self-conscious or stress out. Many many women have them, its not an abnormal thing, its the norm. Men that are conficent and secure accept the marks as a natural part of a woman's physicality.
Bio Oil, Cocoa Butter drink lots of water. That should at least dimish the appearance to the point where you don't have to be self conscious.
Congrats on the new baby!

Even some of the skinniest people and people with growth spurts have stretch marks they are unsightly but not that big of a deal ( look at paris hilton's ***). Unfortunately nothing get rid of stretch marks despite the misconception that you can, you can only fade them or cover them up but they don't go away. relax a little bit, drink more water daily, and eat healthier, use a lot of lotion don't let your skin get dry in the area in order to prevent getting more of them, they have lotions like cocoa butter and vitamin E which are very good at fading them, and they have a concealer called dermablend that works well at covering them up.

These are the badges of womenhood. Congrats on your news years baby!!!! Don't stress it so much. They are fresh which is why they are noticable. They will fade in time. Just use vitamin E and cocoa butter on them, that will help. There are also other products that help but are more expensive.

Strivectin was originally designed to treat stretch marks. It worked so well women began using it on their faces.
