my computer keeps loosing its connection 3 times a day, everyday,and it always happens at 9 am, 4pm and 9pm,it disconnects for about an hour each time.ive contacted my internet provider who has done some line checks but there dont seem to be a problem with that,i dont know weather or not i have messed about with the settings in some way so that makes this problem occur,if anyone know how to sort this problem please help,i have also tried to restore my computer to an earlier date to try and undo anything that i have accidently done but still does not solve the problem

Some firewalls do that to protect you if there is no activity on your IP address. Do you use Zone Alarm? If so, check the settings.

9am, 4pm and 9pm? Thats scary, are you on a wireless connection? check if someone is hacking into your wireless modem... :) if not on wireless, then check the router you are using there could be a schedule on it that disconnects and reconnects at the mentioned times.... i was having the same problem, and just found out yesterday that my modem had the wrong power cord on it. So it was over heating and shutting its self off until it cooled down. Make sure that your modem isn't getting two hot and check your power cord.

You router maybe setup for it to enable interbet access only at certain hours of the day.

Try a website called Cyber Tech help (http://www.cybertechhelp.com/). I have had numerous issues and their experts have been able to correct every one of them. You will have to sign up, but it will cost you nothing.

its shows that u r router has this much time only that means that it cannot work more than 5hours a day try to get some new one
