Obsessed? or obsessive? The guy could just be shooting his mouth off, trying to inflate his ego (impress his friends with all of the girls that are "crazy" for him), if he claims you are OBSESSED with him. If you text him once a day, that could be seen as obsessed in some people's minds, unless you're simply responding to his texts. Ignore him for a little while, and he'll come down out of the clouds, if he likes you. If you don't hear from him, after you've ignored him for 3 or 4 days, it's safe to assume that he's not digging you. Remember, guys generally initiate contact between the sexes.

Check with all of your girlfriends though.

It will all work out.

Calm down Becky, its gonna be okay. It's your 1st possible relationship with someone that you really like. Well, maybe he thinks that you are being obsessive about prom and how the 2 of you should match with your outfits. Maybe he wasn't talking about the way you feel for him. I mean things like dances and proms are more of a girl's event not a guys and girls tend to over do it with the whole thing. Just try to relax and calm down. I don't thing you have anything to be worried about. You could always talk to him about it if it bothers you that much. God Bless you and I hope that you enjoy yourself.

Go straight to him with your friend so you can hear both sides. Alot of people trust there friends but they are the ones lying same thing happened to me couple months ago me and her are still friends. Turns out although she told me we look cute together ask him to the prom, she liked the guy but i told her first and she never told me. But don't let a guy come between you guys if the friendship lasted as long as mine. If the guy did say that ask him why does he think that. If he says its because of the text then forget him if he cant handle a women that actually care dump him.

First, look at the source this info is coming from, she could just be telling you crap just to do it.
Second, ask your guy nicely if it's true and believe whatever he tells you. Don't let your prom be ruined over some silly drama. Take care of the issue and be excited about your big night.

You might need to watch your so called friend. It sounds to me like that person is playing on your emotions. If you do not associate with your date often... why would he make a pre conceived comment like that? Think about it. Girlfriends do things like that to hurt you. She may be instigating trouble between you two so she can move in... It is a girl isn't it?

Don't talk to him anymore. Let him be the one to initiate conversation. Sometimes a guy doesn't like when a girl is too direct. If he is interested in you let him come to you.
