what exactly does west nile virus do to the body? i know it inflames the brain, but does it do anything else?

West Nile Virus can do one of several things. It can cause multiple types of brain inflammation, Encephalitis and menigitis, but it can also cause inflammation of the nervous system, although this is not as common. Only 1% of infected people actually develope the serious conditions.
