I am 16 and I work with this man who is 39, we get on really well and we are always flirting, it has always been a bit of harmless fun, until the other day when he suggested we have sex. I really like him and I think if i don't have sex with him he will ignore me or be nasty at work, and will be really akward as I am with him 7 days a week. Help me please.

You should absolutely not sleep with this guy. This guy knows that many younger women see older guys as mature and manly. I'll bet you a million dollars that he tells you how beautiful you are and how he thinks about you a lot. Guys his age know exactly what to tell teenage girls to make them feel really good and special. Trust me this guy is a perv!
Normal people at that age do not date highschoolers. To him you are Janey or whatever your name is, to him you are a highschooler that that he has a chance at having sex with.

That sounds not so good. What could he possibly want from you other than sex? Does he want a relationship with you? Does he take you out so you can enjoy each others company? Do you love him? In a "normal" you would have no doubts on whether you should or not. As a woman, more than likely, if you are having any doubts- the sex is going to be crap anyway. Women get off on love and passion and intimacy (most). Because of the age gap, I doubt you two are dating and getting to know each other on a "now we are going to start having sex" level.

First of all, no you should not have sex with him. You are too young for him and he can get arrested for having a relationship with you. He is obviously a pedifile if he wants to have sex with a 16 year old girl and he is 39 years old. If you say no to having sex with him and he ignores you or is rude to you then he isn't worth the heart ache. You really should not rush into having sex with anyone. You have your whole life ahead of you for that. If I were you, I would not have sex with him and he can not accept that then "SEE YA!" He is not worth getting a broken heart over.
