how do i get my boyfriend over the fact that i've been with another person when we wern't together?

the story:
me and this guy dated for a year and a half before we broke up and stopped talking because of constant arguing and unhappiness. we didn't talk for an entire two months, and we both did our thing. he started talking to this girl, who he had sex with, and actually had feelings for. they wern't mutual however, the girl just considered him as a lay buddy. i however had sex with a guy that used to like me when me and my boyfriend were dating, but i never acted upon it. i also made out with a couple other guys, but just for fun, nothing serious.

the thing is, he keeps bringing it up, and he tells me how he can't get the picture of someone else touching me out of his mind. although he did the same thing, i'm not as worried about it. how do i make him realize that he's the one i want to be with, and to get his mind off me sleeping with another guy?

This will help for future reference. Never- ever give your significant other any "details" of your sexual relationships. They may ask you and then say don't worry, it won't bother them, but don't believe it! They may even tell you something what they did, hoping for you to do the same in exchange! Don't do it(let them know before hand that even if they tell you, that you are not going to exchange stories). They will either hang it over your head, or share it with someone else in the future, should you ever part from them, or if they get angry at you during an argument, and need something to bring up just to try and win an argument!
It will be a picture that they will not be able to erase from their minds, and may change their thoughts or feelings about you.
Your current guy now has issues. You need to drop him, rather than holding onto him, as he tries to make you feel needlessly guilty, ashamed or constantly apologetic. He is being a hypocrite. He is no better off than you. Nevertheless, it is no way to try to build a relationship. Move on to better pastures!

There is nothing you can do except find a new boyfriend. the fault lies with you however, you should never have told him you had sex with another guy. This in no way means you shouldn't have or didn't have the right to, just you should have told him you didn't. It's a lie that needed to be told to make the rebuilt relationship work. You screwed up, now you can't live with it.

This is why it's called dating.

if you have a pic of you and the other guy making out then have it blown up to like 3' x 4'. Then hang the pic above your bed so your bf will see it everyday. At 1st he'll be angry but after awhile he'll become desensitized. Problem solved.

just tell him straight up that you wanna be just with him and no one else. also remind him all this happened when you had broken up, so it wasn't like you were cheating on him. apologize and tell him they were mistakes, but only if they were. he will move on but just give him some time, it probably is a surprise to him.
