i unplugged the internet yesterday then plugged it back ,but after i did that my limewire dosent work anymore .it's saying that "your machine does not appear to have an active internet connection". but my internet works ...

go to start then control panel then go to add remove programs this is you have windows xp then go and look for java in the add and remove list uninstall it then go to www.java.com and then go to the top and go to java software download then download the latest java then install it and you should be good hopefully bc limewire uses java to run and thats what happened to me before and it worked fine before

try to install it again bec some time the registary will get damaged if u unpluck it with out closing it properly

I don't know, but limewire is illegal so stop using it
