according to the xtian writings, his last words, as he realized that he was just a man, were, "My G-d, my G-d! Why have you forsaken me?"

If he believed he was the promised Moshiach - who will be an earthly king to rule over a peaceful Israel - he was expecting something special to rescue him, and was mightily disappointed when it did not happen. If he believed any of the other stories that Saul/Paul made up about him being G-d incarnated (after his death), he was a blasphemer, who would not bother to ask that question.
