Actually its fat in the stools that make them float, not fiber.

Its funny that you have 4 answers and 2 of us say fat and the other 2 say fiber, WELL THE RIGHT ANSWER IS THE FAT! NOT FIBER, Fiber will do the oppisite.

I heard ( dont know how true it is ) that you have good fiber in your diet when it floats. But when it sinks, your not getting enough fiber.
