How do you get over unrequited love?

I like this guy and I told him I liked him, but he said he has a gf. The problem is that I see him at work everyday

you will get over it with time..i had one of those the only different is i didn't tell the guy that i liked him....i would go with mmm answer focus on some thing you don't like about him..and u will find ur right ^_^

This situation really sucks. It is so hard to let go of someone who doesn't feel the same even though it should be easier. You have to understand and come to terms with the fact that it will never be...that there is no hope and no future. Giving up on the dream or fantasy can be hard and painful.

When you are ready to accept that there is no hope in that situation you can start to move on. Keep him out of your mind as much as possible. Harder to do because you see him everyday. Only see him when necessary...if you can avoid him in any way do it. (take a different lunch or eat somewhere private, take a different route to go somehwhere if you can avoid him) Put him out of your thoughts when you are not working directly with him. When not at work keep busy. Start a hobby, read, go out with friends, go out alone. Do anything to occupy yourself.

This is a hard and painful situation. I am in unrequited love myself so I know!!

focus on the annoying things about him... like if his nose is big just focus on that and while u r talking just notice that... he must have somthing wrong with him!!!!
