Am I healthy?
I just took my blood pressure with this machine thing or whatever and i'm not for sure waht sys/mmhg or dia/mmhg means but this is what I got

Pulse per minute- 85

98/65 (Sys/MMHG, DIA/mmhg)

I was standing by the way.

This is my status:
Weight:120lbs
Height:5ft 4.5inches
Age:16(17 in 11days)
Gender:Female
Pants size: 3-5(Rarely a five but sometimes stores have different sizes then others)

P.S. When my dad did this his Dia and Sys were really high(which is bad according to the doctor he went to a few days ago and said my dad was very unhealthy)but anyways, why is his Heart pulse lower then mine? I thought it's bad to have a really high pulse. His pulse was 82.

Everything is fine, apart from the pulse being a little fast, but that could have just been a one off.

"healthy" depends on many factors, and a doctor is the one to ask. Your "vital signs" have to be considered in light of your overall health, not just absolute numbers. Your Dad's blood pressure readings might be influenced by medications he's taking, for example.

Common resting heart rates are in the seventies and eighties, but a very fit athelete can have a resting heart rate in the fifties, and a cup of coffee can make mine go to high nineties.... yet i am still "healthy". Babies have very high heart rates, compared to the rest of us, and boys are different from girls.

Why worry about your health when you can very easily get a checkup and from that point on, compare yourself at every checkup with your last check up? You're right to wonder how healthy you are, but not to worry. Make health part of your life instead of waiting for signs of sickness!

It all sounds very good to me... cont.. eating right.. taking care of your health... I would be happy to see patients with BP, P, height & weight ... like you have for your age...;-)
