...and if adultery offends Him so much—it's a stoning offense, right up there with gay sex—how come He designed men and women to be sexually incompatible?

Well, I should say that He designed straight men and straight women to be sexually incompatible. Lesbian couples, with their bags of Doritos, and gay couples, with our mutually insatiable sexual appetites, seem pretty intelligently designed. Thank you, Jesus!

Your over simplifing a very complicated problem that has little to do with the "sex" as it does with the "relationship". Its mostly due to our wonderful culture that most strait relationships are at ends with each other. The fact is the whole reason the two get together is for the childern. Now thou we have a society that feels that two individuals can get together for there own selfish reasons. This destories the environment that the relationship needs to function. Namly an outside force from the two individuals that allows the relationship to not be based soly on the "wants" of those two individual, but on the "needs". We don't need to be rich and keeping up with the "Jones". But we do need a society that puts great importances on family and friends, that allows a person to gain social ego not from first impressions, but from the history that individual has with his society. In other words you can be top dog around here and it doesn't matter how you got there your still going to be respected even thou you havn't done anything to deserve it. Everyone wants a peice of that pie which goes in odds with the really reasons we exsist in the first place. So social conflict is destoring heterosexual relationships, not the heterosexuals per-say, or God.

Wow...there are a lot of ways I can answer this question. Since I'm an atheist I could argue that the bible is not a holy book, just an old one with plenty of arcane ideas. I could argue that the concept of marriage is purely a male concept to insure any children resulting from sexual relations are truly his (like that's some guarantee). I could argue that homosexual relationships are not all "Will and Grace" and I know of many homosexual couples who are in bad relationships. Men and women ARE compatible, species-wise, that's what you need to propagate. Personalities are not always compatible.

God cearly states in the Bible that sex is only for a man and a woman whom are married. If He wanted men to be gay and women to be lesbian (which He doesn't) then he would have made it that way, but He didn't. "If man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable." Leviticus 20:13

If men and women are so sexually incompatiable why is it that the only way to make a child is when a man and a woman get together.

Not a very well formed philosophical question. I think you are looking more to see how agrivated you can make Christans than actually get an answer. *shakes his head*
As to why you are not compatible with women... look more how you treat other human beings in general... like your question...
need I say more?

That's not what God wants. Those are religious beliefs. God loves everyone no matter how different they are & he made us all the way we are for a reason.
