I work out regularly already, and I also take whey proten shakes once or twice a day. I'm pretty cut for my size, but I'm looking for something to give me a little extra edge in the weight room. What is a good dietary supplement to use? It also must be safe...No side effects (except getting huge). Thanks!

What you are using now is the best and safest way. Creatine works, but long-term side effects are not known.

There is a lot of junk out there so be careful what you get. Protein shakes and creatine are the main ones you should think about. Also, a good fast uptake carb supplement like maltodextrin is something to consider, for post workout carb. The biggest impact you can make will be through your diet and workout routine. Most people are surprised how much they need to get in order to grow.

Creatine is a safe way to gain the size you are looking for. It will give you strength as well. Some of the weight you gain will be water weight. Creatine swells the muscle cells with water. Make sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day as well. Don't listen to negative feedback about creatine. I have been a personal trainer for many years and always recommend it to my clients that want to get huge. remember to consult a physican prior to taking any supplements.
