if you practice enough each day will it come natural to you, ehg blocking striking ect
when you block an attack is it because of practice or beacuse of instinct (for an untrained fighter)

i saw a fight and this boy held on to this persons right shoulder and was punching him
what would you do int that situation

Traning or the drills you do everyday the way your Sifu, or Sensei tells you to do it is for a specific reason. If you drill and drill and drill on a specific move every day it becomes second nature, or what we call a learned reflex. If you come up against some one whom wishes to hit you with a straight punch to thew face do you have the reflex to do something about it?

Well if not train harder.

I would never be in that situation. Do not ask the what if question, this only takes away from your training. Just train and apply what you have been taught.

If you trained hard, you should feel good. Yes, you should alter what isn't working. Yes, if you practice enough your movements will become automatic. Some is instinctive as well. Several options, left hand, either foot, or, depending on the hold, circle the right arm for a joint lock.

Don't you get it? Grappling take LONG LONG LONG TIME to get good at! It's not something that you just start get good at as soon as you step in the class. Have you ever heard of Machado's quote
"imagine you not being a good swimmer and you're stuck in deep sea and the shark being us"
That's how grappling is. You can't get luck, outpower, or outspeed your way in grappling. You have to use your technique and skill to win.

If someone was hold on my shoulder and try to punch me, I would do a judo throw or gret him in clinch and use my knees or elbows to destroy him. NEVER grab a judoka or Muay Thai guy by shoulder, worse mistake anyone could make!

If someone grabs your shoulder, side step, circle the arm
and break it.
Or
Grasp,wrist lock,and break the arm.
Or
Secure the arm,at the hand, and use a "Severe" inner block at the elbow and break the arm.
Or
Throw a front kick,at "full power" "Folding" your opponent.
snatch the arm and break it.
