If you are in the process of joining the Navy you should be going to your recruiting station on a regular basis for DEP meetings. That way you know other people that will be going to boot camp with you or around the time you will be. The recruiters are there to talk to you about everything Navy and the other people waiting to go to boot camp should become your friends since you have something in common.
