I remember starting off with doing 25 sit-ups a day and then i increased it by 5 everyday and I noticed that my muscles were getting really heard when i flexed them, You will notice your muscles getting harder within a week or two.

Depends how you do them and your current physical shape. Your not going to see results if you do them 5 at a time all throughout the day. The key to developing any muscle group is to overload your muscles. Try to do them all at once or in 2 sets of 25 with a minute or 2 rest in between sets. Make sure you have good form and aren't cheating yourself. You should start seeing results in 4-6 weeks. Remember as soon as you feel yourself getting stronger, work a little harder. It's the only way to continue to improve.

In all actuality 50 sit-ups is not a lot. To tone your mid-section you will first need to minimize overall body fat and that's achieved through cardio and expedited with strength training. If you don't have much body fat, try a variety of ab exercises. Leg lifts, reverse crunches, crunches and bicycle; try about 2 sets/15 reps of each.

I read in fitness magazine that it is not the number of reps you do, but the variety. Look on the website to find lots of exercises for every part of the body. You can get the magazine really cheap. I absolutely love this magazine!!! The abs will not show if you have fat on your stomach. There is no way to spot reduce fat. I have read that crunches on a exercise ball are the most effective. Try the site.

To see a difference in your midsection you will have to do more than 50 sit ups a day and lose fat. You may build muscle but if there is a layer of fat you can't see them!

I would google some ab exercises and check out the abs eating plan!

50 a day isnt enough , do 200 a day. you can do it by first do 30 reps then rest then 20 = 50 repeat process until you get to 200, you also need to do a lot of cardio and drink water

If you are really skinny already, it will show within about a week or two. If you have a chubby tummy, it may take longer to show.
