No leland, it's NOT your fault! Many times parents can be greedy, self-centered and selfish. They sometimes only think about themselves and will often rationalize how their separating from one another is really the best thing for their child or children.

I know because I was one of those selfish parents. Only recently, 27 years after my divorce, have I learned from my 32 year old daughter how she thought it was her fault. She told me she thought she had done something wrong or that she wasn't good enough. I told her that I was very selfish, that I was wrong to put a four year old girl through all that and I asked her forgiveness. She forgave me.

No, it's not your fault. Parents are imperfect people.

Absolutely not your fault. The relationship between your parents has failed for whatever reasons. Love both your parents and keep good relationships with both. It could be rough and stressful for a while but in most cases everything settles down with time. If you have trouble with feelings and such go talk to a therapist or school counselor. They are there to answer these question, let you talk and vent, and even get in groups with others your age to see you are not alone.

Just keep moving forward with your own life and don't worry too much about theirs. Their divorce has no bearing on your life!
