For the past several months I have been having pain in the middle of my back, mainly when I sit down in a chair and put pressure on the area right near the spine on the right side. Most of the time, I don't have any discomfort when standing up. The symptoms are sharp pain near the spine, general aching and even a little itching in that area as well as radiating around the right side of my back. It feels as if there is pressure on my spine when sitting, which obviously is not normal - I shouldn't feel anything.
I've been seeing a chiropractor and have been trying to do tragger point therapy on myself using the The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook and that has helped other tender spots on my back, but not the irritation on my spine when sitting. Anyone have any ideas or things I should bring up to my doctor?
