It depends what religions you are talking about. But in most cases it is not "Wrong" but it could be looked down upon. There are some churches and clergymen that won't marry two people of different religions. So you need to take the time and consider many things before you get married, and religion is a big one.

No. The most important part of any religion is love, love for your fellow human beings and other living creatures. If someone converts to a different religion than the one he/she inherited at birth, should the mother abandon him/her? No, because the love of a mother is more important than what religion the child chooses to follow.
If you're into math or physics, you will know that there are many paths to the same thing. This happens in quantum mechanics, in string theory, and so on, and I'm sure it's true in other fields as well. I believe that this is the case in religion, too, there are many paths that lead to enlightenment.

I don't think its wrong, but it makes things a lot more difficult in your relationship especially if each of you are very devoted to your own religion. I had that problem with my ex-husband. We didn't agree on lots of things having to do with religion and we never discussed it previous to our marriage. That's not the reason we split up, but it is something that caused some major problems in our relationship.

Legally, its not wrong.
Some religions may say its wrong.
Its usually a bad idea, because eventually it will be a reason for arguments to start. There's already enough pressures on newlyweds without adding major religious differences.

No. It can make things more difficult especially if the religions are dramatically different at the heart of it. ie Islam and Christianity have different central figures although many of the same tenets.

Um, no. God doesn't have a say in who you can and can't marry. YOU DO! So it's not wrong to marry someone of a different religion. It think it's wrong to believe that it's wrong.

it's not wrong!!!
for parents , it might be "wrong" but it's because they are expecting problems..
like, if you get babies, what religion would they follow? will one of you convert to the other's religion?
I believe that if your love is strong, it can overcome any problem and thus living happily even with different religion

No.
If you are in love with that person and you can work out the religious differences without hurting the relationship, or confusing your children..
Nothing wrong with it.

alot of people would say yes because supposedly reliogious groups want you to marry someone in the same relgion as you. But, people do it all the time and are happy. SO it is totally up to you to decide......It makes it more difficult if you have different religious backgrounds because if you have kids you want to raise them in your beliefs.....
