chicago wedding?

Question

Looking for a nice place in Chicago or South Suburb to have a reception. A banquet hall is fine but I really need a place where I can bring in catered food. I am trying to cut cost on my reception.

I am looking for southside of chicago or south suburbs my church is on the southside where I am having my wedding, so I am looking for a place where my out of town guest won't have to travel far

You might try a VFW or American Legion Hall. I think they allow you to hire your own caterer. Or how about a community center or church hall? Make sure where ever you decide on will allow alcohol, if you are planning on serving it. Some community buildings don't allow it. Good luck

Rent a church hall or if having alcohol of any kind, rent a fellowship hall from one of the fraternal organizations. There are all kinds, from ethnic brotherhoods on up to the Masons, Knights of Columbus etc.

It used to be a bank and so it looks like it from the outside, but inside it's very nice!

I am also from Chicago, I went to look at the place and it is very nice, they also have a children's play room.
