Use Matrix, Sleek(orange tube) styling cream. It acts as a anti-humectant, which helps keep ypu hair from frizzing. Use a flat iron and try to buy a ceramic flat iron because they are better. The Sleek product has a mild relaxant in it so it helps to keep the hair straighter throughout the day. Don't use too much it will look greasy.

I don't get how caroline says that curling irons don't do as much damage... They both have heat. oh well. I kind of have this problem too, but usually I dab just a little mouse out of the shower and maybe some infusium, in the brown bottle, or whichever one claims to tame frizzies.

You should buy a heat protectant product [you can get them at drugstores], and use that on your hair before you do any heat damage. You should also buy a frizz smoothing serum so your hair won't curl up again. Try not to straighten it everyday, CURLY HAIR IS BEAUTIFUL! =)

Enjoy products... there is one that comes in a bottle and it is a straightener, you spray it on.. not too much though. And there are other kinds of shampoos and conditioners that can help tame your hair. But definitly check out Enjoy products, its a bit expensive, but definitly worth it!
