for a few years
i was in the pub and i brought a beer for him because i was buying a round
he told me that it is his birthday tuesday and he is going out monday and he asked if i was going out
please advise me on what this could mean

I think you are reading too much into it, he clearly is going out for his birthday and is just inviting you out to celebrate it...
If he was interested then you defo know about it.

ok, the best thing you can do is just go and see for yourself. don't analyse what he said too much, it will just frustrate you. it could mean that he is interested, it could mean that he just wants a big party so he is telling everyone... you can't know, so just don't bother, go, and see what happens. good luck!
